Small molecule. Long life.

The certified molecular hydrogen tablet for people who take longevity seriously.

One tablet. One glass. Every batch independently tested for heavy metals, microbials, potency and stability — and every result published.

Proof over hype

Longevum exists for people who read the label. Every batch of our effervescent H2 tablets is independently tested by Eurofins for heavy metals, microbials, potency and stability — and we publish the results. Where the category competes on volume, we compete on proof.

Proof over hype

Claims only when we can show the data.

We prioritize transparency over marketing. Every batch is independently tested by Eurofins for heavy metals, microbials, and potency, with results published for every carton.

Calm premium

Elevated wellness, never pharmacy-sterile.

Our effervescent tablets are designed for a daily ritual, not a quick fix. We believe in a premium experience that respects your body's natural chemistry.

Longevity lens

Daily discipline, not quick fixes.

Longevity isn't a trend. It's a discipline. We focus on the evidence and the science, providing a simple ritual for those who take their health seriously.

OUR PRODUCT

One tablet. One glass. That's the whole ritual.

Drop one tablet in 12–16 oz of water and let the tablet fully dissolve. Drink right away — hydrogen escapes an open glass quickly, which is chemistry, not marketing urgency.

Elemental magnesium

80 mg per tablet, 19% Daily Value. Stated plainly, no proprietary blends.

30 tablets

A one-month supply at one tablet a day.

Dissolved hydrogen

[PPM — pending COA]. Measured in a sealed vessel, 16 oz, at the 2-minute mark — the only conditions that make the number mean anything.

WHAT IT TASTES LIKE

Faintly mineral, with a light crispness — closer to sparkling mineral water than to flavoured drink mix. Some people won't like it. We'd rather tell you that now than have you find out after the second glass.

Every ingredient

Magnesium 80 mg. Other ingredients: dextrose, malic acid, L-tartaric acid, adipic acid. That is the entire formula.

Dissolve time

[DISSOLVE TIME — pending stopwatch test]. We publish the number, not an adjective.

THE CHEMISTRY

Magnesium, water, and one honest reaction.

01

The Chemical Reaction

The tablet's magnesium reacts with water: Mg + 2H₂O → Mg(OH)₂ + H₂. That last term — H₂ — is molecular hydrogen, the smallest molecule there is, dissolved into the glass in front of you.

02

Why a tablet, not a bottle

Hydrogen is a gas. It leaves prepackaged water through the container over time. A tablet makes the hydrogen in your glass, at the moment you drink it.

03

Why an open glass has a ceiling

Henry's Law caps how much hydrogen plain water can hold at room temperature and normal pressure. Any number quoted without its measurement conditions — vessel, volume, elapsed time — is not a number you can check.

04

Why 'drink it now' isn't a sales line

Dissolved hydrogen escapes an open glass within minutes. Drinking it fresh is the whole point of the format.

The Evidence

Group A: Strongest evidence, healthy adults

Antioxidant capacity — A 2024 meta-analysis of controlled trials in healthy adults found hydrogen supplementation raised biological antioxidant potential, a blood measure of the body's own capacity to resist oxidation, compared with placebo. Limitation: pooled trials were small and used varied dosing protocols.

Exercise recovery — In a double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover in 12 trained men (Botek et al., 2021), 24-hour muscle soreness was rated 26 versus 41 on a 100-point scale, with lower blood lactate after exercise. Replicated in direction across four further trials. Limitation: sample sizes in single to low double digits; effects varied by training status.

Everyday stress and autonomic tone — A double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover in 26 healthy volunteers drinking 600 mL/day for four weeks (Watanabe et al., 2017) reported lower psychological-distress scores and lower resting sympathetic nerve activity than placebo. Limitation: n = 26. One study is not a body of evidence.

Group B: Early and promising, but narrower

Premenstrual comfort — A randomised controlled trial in 65 women drinking 1,500–2,000 mL/day across three cycles (Aker et al., 2024) reported lower premenstrual symptom scores and better quality-of-life measures. Limitation: single trial, high daily volume, self-reported outcomes.

Dose is the open question — Most published trials asked participants to drink one to two litres of specially prepared hydrogen water per day, for four to twenty-four weeks. Very little research has tested the tablet format at the dose a single glass delivers. That gap is real and we are not going to paper over it.

Group C: The counter-evidence, in full

We'd rather you read this from us than find it elsewhere.

A 2024 PROSPERO-registered systematic review of 25 studies — published under the title 'Hydrogen water: Extra healthy or a hoax?' (Dhillon et al.) — concluded the results are encouraging but need larger samples and more rigorous methods. We think that is a fair summary.

A widely discussed 2013 pilot result in a neurological population was not reproduced by a later 178-participant confirmatory trial. Positive pilots in this field do not reliably survive replication, and we think you should know that before you spend money.

Independent critics — including McGill University's Office for Science and Society — have argued that effervescent tablets may not deliver a meaningful hydrogen dose to the body, and have noted that some frequently cited studies were funded in part by hydrogen water sellers. Both points are worth taking seriously. It is why we publish our measurement conditions rather than a bare number.

Roughly one in five reviewers across this category reports noticing nothing at all. That is a normal result for a supplement and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Most of the remaining published literature was conducted in patients with diagnosed medical conditions. Those findings do not transfer to healthy adults, and we do not cite them.

BUYER'S CHECKLIST

Five things to check before you buy any hydrogen tablet — ours included.

1

Elemental magnesium stated per tablet, in milligrams. Not 'magnesium blend'.

Look for a clear, specific elemental magnesium amount. Avoid brands that use vague terms like 'magnesium blend' or 'magnesium salts' without specifying the exact elemental content.

2

The full ingredient list, on the page, before you buy.

Every supplement should have a transparent ingredient list. Check that the formula includes only the elements listed on the packaging and no hidden additives.

3

A disclosed dissolve time. If a brand hasn't timed it, they haven't tested it.

The dissolution time is critical for hydrogen delivery. A brand that doesn't provide a specific dissolve time has not measured the critical chemistry of the tablet.

4

Measurement conditions attached to any hydrogen figure — vessel, volume, elapsed time. A number without conditions is decoration.

A hydrogen figure without its measurement conditions is meaningless. Look for data that includes the vessel size, water volume, and the exact elapsed time.

5

Third-party batch testing with published results, not a one-time certificate from launch.

Independent testing is the gold standard. Look for brands that publish their Certificates of Analysis (COA) for every production batch, not just a launch certificate.

We wrote this list knowing you could use it against us. That's the point.

VERIFIED

Tested every batch. Published every result.

Every production batch is sent to Eurofins for independent testing — heavy metals, microbials, potency and stability. We manufacture in an FDA-registered, cGMP-compliant facility in the United States. Certificates of analysis are published here by batch number, so the carton in your kitchen can be traced to the test that cleared it.

ABOUT LONGEVUM

Longevity isn't a trend. It's a discipline.

Longevum is a small US brand built by people who got tired of reading supplement labels that told them nothing. This category grew faster than its evidence did — a lot of it on the strength of one podcast recommendation and a price that made no sense for five common ingredients.

We took the opposite bet. State what's in it. Publish what it tested at. Describe the research accurately, including the parts that undercut us. Let people decide. If that costs us a sale to someone who wanted a bigger promise, we can live with it.

Longevum is made in the United States by Accend Enterprises LLC. Our product is sold on Amazon, where reviews are public and unedited.
